Dead Pretty is a complete watercolor toolkit for Procreate, created for artists who like their watercolor a little rough around the edges.
Inspired by real watercolor on real paper, this set was built around the things that make traditional watercolor beautiful: pooled pigment, unpredictable bleeds, dry texture, scratchy edges, stains, grain + happy accidents.
The paper textures were handmade from real physical papers that I photographed and scanned, while the brushes were carefully designed to bring that tactile, organic character into your digital artwork.
Use Dead Pretty for loose watercolor illustration, florals, mixed media, sketchy linework, lettering, moody artwork or anything that could use a little less perfection.

4 HANDMADE PAPER CANVASES

Each texture began with physical paper that was photographed and scanned before being developed into a digital painting surface.

Each canvas is 5000 × 5000 px at 300 DPI and supplied in Procreate, PSD + JPG formats.
15 HAND-PAINTED WATERCOLOR STAMPS
Add blooms, stains, bleeds + organic watercolor texture with a tap.
Stamp them onto separate layers, then resize, rotate, recolor, erase, blend + layer them to create your own effects.
WASHES + EFFECTS
Use them alone or layer them over existing paint to introduce bleeds, blooms, grit, grain, distress + depth.
They're made to break up overly perfect digital brushwork and give your artwork a little more character.
BLEND + ERASE
Four dedicated blenders soften, smear, lift + move pigment, while five textured erasers let you clean up or rough up your artwork without losing that watercolor feel.
COMPATIBILITY
Created for Procreate on iPad.
Apple Pencil or another pressure-sensitive stylus is recommended for the best results.
This brush set requires Procreate and is not designed for Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Fresco or other drawing programs.
